Reconnecting with Nature

1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, a mindful morning in the Sculpture Garden

Drawing on the principles of nature therapy, join Jay Ridgewell from Held Outside to explore and connect with the beautiful bushland.  Based in and around the Sculpture Garden, this calm and welcoming activity includes facilitated wanders, grounding exercises, creative practice and group interaction.

What participants are saying:

“I arrived feeling ... stress and fatigue and had a racing mind filled with everything I needed to do throughout the week. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, revitalised and centered.”

Reconnecting with Nature is a perfect Sunday opportunity to reset your body and mind at the Botanic Garden.

Jay is an accredited and professional member of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, and a science educator for more than 10years. Find out more about her practice and approach here.

This activity is proudly supported by Healthy Sunshine Coast.  Please note, Reconnecting with Nature will be taking a break from 16th December, recommencing in February 2025.
