Build your own Sandcast Birdbath

7th October: Learn how to make a simple and inexpensive birdbath at home

This workshop is FULLY BOOKED.

Hands-on birdbath building demonstration by Maureen Sheargold.

Providing water in the garden is an important part of creating wildlife habitat. However, finding a birdbath that is right for the birds in your garden while fulfilling design intent is difficult. In this workshop you will see a demonstration of how to use sandcast cement to make a simple, inexpensive birdbath of almost any size or form. This process and mix can then be used to create your own design as well as being adapted to many other garden applications.
