Bushland Impressions IV

23 May - 7 June: Group exhibition featuring stunning ceramics inspired by nature

Bushland Impressions IV returns to the Arts and Ecology Centre this Autumn, building on the stand-out success of previous exhibitions.

From 23 May – 7 June, the exhibition is open daily 10am - 3pm (free entry), inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a stunning artistic collection set within the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden.

Presented by local group the Makers' Perspective, Bushland Impressions IV draws creative inspiration directly from the surrounding bushland - it's flora, fauna and feeling, adding a rich new experience during your visit to the Garden. This year’s exhibition features an exciting curation of ceramic and pottery works by Kristina Pearson, Kath Melzer, Susan Trimble and Pattie Murray. Together, they will showcase an impressive range of skills and techniques, from expressive garden sculptures to fine porcelain pieces and beautifully crafted functional ware.

Complementing the ceramics, evocative paintings by Bronwyn Barton will adorn the gallery walls, capturing the colours, shapes, shadows and reflections of the natural bush in her distinctive style.

Visitors will enjoy daily demonstrations and opportunities to meet the artists, making this a not-to-be-missed celebration of Sunshine Coast art and nature.
