Sweet treats - Native plants for everyday cooking

8th June - Explore the wealth of edible native plants found in our local area.

Each year World Environment Day is celebrated during the first week of June. There is no better way to commemorate the day than by immersing yourself in nature!

The Australian bush provides a wealth of edible native plants that can add wonderful flavours, smells and nutrition to your cooking. Join us for a relaxing guided walk through the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden to explore these incredible edibles. Discover the natives you can grow in your own backyard and how to incorporate them into your everyday cooking. This walk is suitable for adults.

Date: 8 June

Time: 10am-11.30am

Registration is essential - $5.
