Western Tall Gums bushwalk


3km bushwalk through eucalypt forest and rainforest gullies.

This bushwalk extends into bushland on the western side of the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden. It is suitable for experienced bushwalkers. The track starts from the Creek Walk on one end and the Upland Bushwalk on the other. The track winds its way through areas of tall open eucalypt forest on the slopes and ridges, as well as wet eucalypt forest and rainforest around the lower slopes, gullies and creeks. The walk involves three creek crossings.

Grade 4 track: Rough track, very steep sections, creek crossings. Few directional signs. Track subject to flash flooding. For experienced bushwalkers only.
