The Arts and Ecology Centre is a sustainably designed facility used for:
- exhibitions and residencies
- creative and environmental workshops
- talks and symposium events.
The Centre includes public amenities, the Garden Cafe, exhibition space, workshop area and staff office.
Opened in 2011, the building features solar, natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting. The building complements its botanical setting with beautiful, native landscaping with banksia and kurrajong flowers, a sub-tropical pond, hanging epiphytes and Japanese 'earth' garden.
