A space to create, learn and relax
Arts and Ecology Centre
The Maroochy Arts and Ecology Centre is a modern facility used for:
- Exhibitions
- Creative and environmental workshops
- Talks and symposium events
The Centre includes public amenities, the Compass Café, an information desk, exhibition room, workshop area and staff office.
Opened in 2011, the design features solar, natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting. The building compliments its botanical setting with beautiful, native landscaping with banksia and kurrajong flowers, a sub-tropical pond, hanging epiphytes and Japanese 'earth' garden.
