Faunawatch is a community-based fauna monitoring initiative run by Wildlife Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and Hinterland Branch and supported by Sunshine Coast Council.
What: This monthly fauna observation activity is open to anyone to come along and join. No experience is necessary. We start with a walk on one of the several trails in the gardens followed by BYO morning tea and general discussion. A record of the fauna identified is kept. Dress for a walk in the outdoors. Binoculars are useful.
Where: Meet in the carpark near the Tallowwood Shelter.
When: Second Wednesday of the month (8am-10am)
