Wetlands are teeming with life but it’s not always in balance. Underneath the beauty, there is an undercurrent of danger. Amidst the reflection of Paperbarks and grace of birds, lurk introduced predators - stalking their prey.
Through original fine art prints, paintings, artist books and paper sculpture, local artist Susan Haddock narrates an unseen story of survival in the wetlands in this solo exhibition.
The Arts and Ecology Centre is thrilled to host this diverse body of new works developed through local in situ studies of iconic Sunshine Coast environments, including Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve and Ewen Maddock Dam.
